By training, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. I primarily work with individuals, couples, adolescents, families, and groups. The majority of people who work with me are working on finding themselves, getting unstuck, dealing with loss, anxiety, depression, abuse, relationships, and trauma. I especially enjoy working with couples and individuals on Self discovery and creating balance in life.
I utilize a number of theoretical positions, such as Adlerian, Humanistic, Experiential, Cognitive-Behavioral, Systems, Dialectical Behavioral, Attachment, Lifespan Integration, and Emotionally Focused.
I believe that humans strive to live in health, joy, and balance. While we strive to stay in these states of being, we do not always feel like we are moving in the "right" direction. I hope to help you understand how you are moving in the world and give you tools that will help you achieve your goals. I practice in a way that is coach-like, open-minded, and non-pathological. I am immensely privileged to walk along side you as you make your way through challenging moments.
